Email Issues

Dealing with email delivery issues can be frustrating, but there are steps you can take to help your email provider recognize the emails you want to receive. Here’s what you can do:

  • Add our email address to your contacts: A simple way to let your email provider know that you want to receive emails from us is by adding support@counsellingtutor.com to your contacts. This applies to all email providers and helps ensure that our emails are recognized as important.

Additionally, here are specific instructions for training your inbox to accept our emails based on some popular email providers:

  • Gmail: Prevent emails from going to your spam folder by creating filters. Open Gmail, click on the icon in the search box, enter our email address in the “From” field, click “Create filter,” select “Never send it to Spam,” and click “Create filter.” If an email has already gone to your spam folder, mark it as “Not Spam” to move it to your inbox and train Gmail at the same time.
  • Outlook: Add our email address to your safe sender’s list. Go to Outlook.com, click on the gear icon, select “View all Outlook settings,” choose “Mail,” then “Junk email,” go to “Safe senders,” click “Add,” enter our email address, and click “Save.” If emails continue to go to your junk mail, check if our email address is accidentally added to your block senders list and remove it.
  • iCloud: If an email has already gone to your junk folder, move it to your inbox to train iCloud. On your iOS device, open the Mail app, select the message in the Junk folder, tap the folder icon at the bottom, and tap “Inbox.” On your Mac, open the Mail app, select the message, and click the “Not Junk” button in the Mail toolbar or drag the message to the Inbox in the sidebar.
  • Yahoo: If an email has gone to your spam folder, move it to your inbox to train Yahoo. On a mobile browser, go to Yahoo Mail, select the sidebar menu, choose “Spam,” select the message, tap the move icon, and select “Inbox.” On a computer, go to Yahoo, select the “Spam” folder, select the message, and click “Not Spam” at the top of the page.

By following these steps, you can improve the email delivery and ensure our messages reach your inbox. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us.
